The Essentials of Painting Guided Track offers two options:
🖌️ Gouache Track: Perfect for painters seeking to understand the fundamentals of painting more in traditional mediums. (you will follow the traditional homework briefs and watch the traditional painting demos along with the core lessons in the Essentials of Painting Course)
💻Digital Track: Ideal for digital artists aiming to enhance their Digital painting skills. (you will follow the digital painting homework briefs and watch the digital painting demos along with the core lessons in the Essentials of Painting Course)

Homework briefs for the lessons that have a digital painting version and gouache/ traditional version

How the guided track is structured:
Each month, you'll watch lessons and do the homework at your own pace following the syllabus provided at signup. Submit your chosen two pages of homework to a designated folder, and during the live monthly sessions (once a month), Tiffanie will offer live critiques and paint overs. She’ll also reinforce key concepts with live demos or Q&A.

Month 1 will focus on learning the visual tools of painting and how to design compositions with proper value relationships.

Month 2 will focus on going into a deep dive of color anatomy and color relationships. We will explore the world of saturation, color temperature and grays, and how they are all linked.

Month 3 will focus how light affects the colors we perceive in the real world. You’ll learn to paint different lighting conditions while also experimenting with pushing color beyond observation to enhance mood and expression.

This month, the focus will be heading outdoors to paint from life. Painting from life is the best way to improve your color instincts, understand value and color relationships, and build confidence in composition. Nature is your greatest teacher!

You will have live time access to the Essentials of Painting Course for the life time of the course, but you will be able to keep all the recordings of the live sessions + bonus demos!

The monthly live sessions will be around 2 hours long depending on the amount of homework submissions and questions. All live sessions will be held on Zoom. Time and dates will be decided upon complete enrollment.

Yes, you will be able to download and rewatch the live sessions as many times as you want. It is yours to keep.

That is totally fine if you cannot finish all the chapters and homework each month- you can submit what you have done, and Tiffanie will still critique your homework! She will give you suggestions on what to work on in each live session based on your pace and skill level.

That is totally fine if you can’t- it is not mandatory to attend the live sessions, although it is highly recommended! Tiffanie will still critique and do a paint over your homework if you submit homework and you can rewatch the recordings.

You can continue to follow the course at your own pace, and you will still be part of the discord community to post progress and get written feedback from Tiffanie.
